    Alyssa King is entering her first season with One Wisconsin.

    King served as the head coach at Rock Valley College from 2014-2017. King was the youth program director for VC United Volleyball Club. She also coached club volleyball with Club Fusion, the largest and number one recruited volleyball club in the country.

    King was an assistant coach for the Keith Country Day high school team that won the 1A state title in 2013 and served as head coach for the Keith Country Day middle school team that went undefeated in 2013. Prior to that, she also coached at DeKalb High School in 2012.

    As a player, King started her college playing career at Middle Tennessee State University where, as a freshman in 2007, her team advanced to the Sweet 16 for NCAA Division I. She transferred to the University of Pittsburgh for her junior season in 2009 and graduated with a bachelor's degree in Sociology in 2011. While finishing her degree at the University of Pittsburgh, she also coached club volleyball for the Pittsburgh Magic in 2011.

    King is originally from Rochelle, Illinois.

    We are very pleased to announce the addition of Phil Abiad to the One Wisconsin Volleyball Club family. Before Joining us Phil was an assistant coach for the last 17 seasons at Cleveland State University. Over the years, Abiad aided the Vikings in posting a combined 207-98 (.678) record - with seven 20-win seasons - along with a quartet of Horizon League Tournament Championships.

    Abiad’s duties at CSU included acting as the recruiting and video coordinator, assisting with the preparation of scouting reports, directing the scout team and assisting with summer camps. A native of Lebanon, Abiad is an avid indoor and beach volleyball player. He played club volleyball in Europe and has refereed high school volleyball in the Cleveland area.

    A 1990 graduate of Cleveland State, Abiad holds a degree in marketing. While a student at CSU, he played on the men’s club volleyball team. Abiad resides in Stevens Point with his wife Kate Peterson Abiad, an Assistant Director at WIAA, and their daughters Mea and Remi.
